“Strong forms with extremely colourful surfaces interest me.
My current work is vessel based and the forms have been wheel thrown. Using ceramic underglazes, glazes and ceramic lustres, I apply colour to the bisque work in a seemingly random manner. The way the colours interact with each other excites me and I enjoy building up the layers. I decorate fast and my style is very loose.”
