Description
The asymmetrical line of this contemporary bronze sculpture by South African sculptor Leoni Needham is immediately appealing. Taken in conjunction with the cool tactile finish of the bronze and the smoothness of the felt backed granite circular base, the whole piece aligns as an aesthetically pleasing work of art. Whilst it is obviously decorative, this sculpture has a functional role as well as a table centrepiece for fruit, flowers, cheese – the possibilities are endless.
