There are only a couple of days now before we open, and we are ready. The gallery is brimful of tantalising work; from fresh new paintings and tactile sculptures, to vibrant ceramics, unusual jewellery and unique craft from a variety of materials such as bronze, glass and mohair.
In these tumultuous days, the soothing calm of this major painting by Karen Laurence-Rowe is more welcome than ever. Likewise the dominance of avian, floral and figurative work, underlying our desire to connect with nature and a simpler life. Overall, it is a bright and breezy summer show, peppered with pretty colours, and plenty of light and levity to lift our mood.
The gallery will be open daily, 10am to 4pm, from this Saturday 9th to Friday 22nd July. We still have three private view appointments for tomorrow afternoon, so please get in touch by email to [email protected] if you wish to come along.
The weather forecast looks fair and we look forward to seeing you over the next fortnight.
