Like the entire country we are grateful and humbled to be on the path towards restorative normality, and like all other non-essential shops, we are delighted to announce we will be opening on Monday 12th April. This is the first of three exhibitions planned for this year to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. As we celebrate this milestone, we remember and thank all our talented, creative artists who allow us to show their imaginative work. And of course, we are indebted and grateful to you, every single customer, who in supporting us, supports artists, communities, charity and Africa as a whole.
This will be an exciting fresh exhibition showing work by five new artists; five new potters; four new jewellers and one new crafter, as well as new work by some of our old, best-loved favourites.
In line with the national mood of caution, we will be open by appointment only for the first twelve days and will be setting up a booking system. This reflects the majority view of last year that a private viewing is relaxing, comfortable and appreciated. But for the final week, from 24th – 30th April inclusive, we will be fully open to the public on a drop-in basis. If any of you have a definite date and time in mind for an appointment already, please email me on [email protected]
New work is being loaded up onto the website continuously, and remember you can purchase directly from it should you wish. Look after yourselves and we’ll be back in touch shortly with more details.
