Artists paint, pot, sculpt, carve, draw and design in their studios, at home or ‘en plein air’ and their art piece at that moment is created “in situ”. At the retail end of the process, customers usually buy art for a particular spot or space, so the artwork is again placed “in situ”. Wherever your ‘situ’ is, we hope you will find something original and fitting from this exhibition to place in it.
Highlights of this new exhibition include canvases painted in situ by John Forbes (see ‘Klein Karoo’ above); new bronze sculptures by Sue Maclaurin and Suzanne Abell; vibrant vessels by Dale Lambert and Margot Rudolph and new silver jewellery by Tamara Dixon.
We are reverting to our pre-Covid arrangement of opening and closing on a Saturday and will no longer have any appointments. However, if anyone wishes to have a private view on Friday 1st April, please email me directly on [email protected] to book.
Do keep an eye on our website to see new work as it gets uploaded and remember you can always purchase directly online or contact us with any enquiries. Thank you for your interest.
