Our gallery is now closed for the month of August. This gives us a chance to clean, stock-take and re-hang, ready to open in September with exciting fresh work. The ceramics we chose on our pre-Covid sourcing trip to Johannesburg and Mpumalanga in February are finally on their way; we hope to have new collections of sculpture and jewellery to show you; and we have beautiful and varied paintings arriving from some of our favourite artists. Nothing is easy right now, but despite the challenges, we are confident we will have a comprehensive show of the usual high standard to present to you next month. And of course, individual artists and makers need our support more than ever right now, especially those in Africa with no tourists visiting their countries.
