Our smart, brand new wooden signs are now up, clearly pointing the way to Fillingdon Fine Art. “Very classy” was how one customer described them yesterday. The key thing is they are clear and durable, as well as beautifully made by The Signmaker in north Devon. The main one at the top of our drive on the A40 prompted customers to remark on Saturday that “at least we can now see where to turn.” The smaller one as you come out of the trees into the clearing, directs cars up the field to park, or states we are closed (Sundays, Mondays & Tuesdays), affording customers who have the wrong day to turn around. And finally the wall light and gallery sign above the barn door, indicates the exhibition is in the out-building and not the main house. So there you have it, and there is now no excuse for not finding the way!
