Description
An unusually small and slightly abstract landscape in oils by classically trained artist Mary-Jane Alexander, who was born in Zimbabwe, but now lives in UK. She also travels frequently to Italy where she and her husband have a second home. As an artist, she excels at landscape, and enjoys painting en plein air in UK and in Italy, making good use of the ever-changing light. Colour and texture are also delightful components in Mary-Jane’s work.
