Description
“My work explores the quiet power and dignity of African wildlife through detailed portraiture. iBhalabhala – the Ndebele word for Kudu – is a celebration of one of the most majestic antelope in the African bush. Drawn to the kudu’s sculptural horns, calm gaze, and graceful presence, I wanted this portrait to honour both its physical beauty and its symbolic connection to strength, resilience, and harmony with nature. Through monochrome tones and expressive detail, the piece invites the viewer into a moment of stillness and reverence, reflecting my deep appreciation for the wild landscapes and creatures of Africa.”
