“I saw this giraffe during a walking safari in South Africa. I will never forget the beautiful moment we
shared; me watching him and him watching me. It made me realise that when you are interested in
something, you equally become interesting yourself.
This piece is about presenting ourselves to the world with our head held high, scars and all! Neither
us nor nature is perfect, so this artwork is here to celebrate the fact that we are all uniquely
individual. It’s about standing tall with pride for who we are and how we show up.”
