Description
“I was instantly drawn to making this piece; firstly because it created a completely new challenge in
terms of subject matter and colour scheme; secondly because of the shift in scale from my usual
large animals, and thirdly because I loved the concept of something as small and delicate as the tulip
being able to provide a protective and safe space for the mouse. It was a joy to create the silky sheen and pleated curves of the petals and I found it was once again a reminder of how exceptionally beautiful and clever mother nature is.”
This delicate image of a sheltering harvest mouse is double mounted with a gutter mount and framed with UV99% conservation glass.
