Description
An impressive large earthenware contemporary vessel, suitable or in or outdoors, by Sue Weston and her team at Storm in a Teacup in the Gauteng province of South Africa. This pot is hand built, using a combination of slab, coil and wheel techniques, in a white clay with a speckled grog which makes the vessel very durable. It is fired to 1120, with a matt slip on the outside, and a waterproof glaze inside, making it fully functional as a vase.
