A massive thank you to everyone who booked and came to visit us over the last fortnight. We were humbled by those of you who said it was your first visit out, and honoured that you chose us. The beautiful sunny weather was a bonus, and being able to have our doors wide open, coupled with gloves, masks and sanitiser, meant we all felt safe and protected.
You chose some beautiful work – paintings in particular, and it appears an upside of the virus is that many of us are having a fresh look at our home environment with new eyes. All our artists, sculptors and makers are very grateful for your support in these torrid times, particularly those who rely on tourists to Africa, who are a rare breed at the moment.
So the autumn exhibition “Too Lift our Spirits” is now closed but we will keep the gallery open by appointment until Saturday 24th October; the end of British Summer Time; as there is always plenty of appealing work in stock and gift occasions keep coming round despite Covid! If you would like to visit please email us on [email protected] to arrange a mutually convenient time.
Otherwise we hope and plan to open our Christmas exhibition in November – but there may be a lot of water to pass under the bridge before then, so we will keep you posted.
