This is a new detailed wood and mixed media hanging figurative totem by master carver and sculptor Robyn Gordon who looks to history, heritage and her soul for inspiration, before including her beach walk finds to tell each story. There is a simple beauty in this piece with a beautiful open face atop plenty of symbolism in her body, in particular the exquisitely executed middle panel inset with Robyn’s beloved cowrie shells.
