“I was fortunate to see this cheetah and his brother on the last morning of a safari in Botswana. They
crossed the track in front of us just as we were coming around a bend and we proceeded to have the
most amazing encounter watching them as the golden glow of the rising sun welcomed in the day.
At one point, the cheetah stood in the open plains amongst a backdrop of grasses with little seed
heads at the top. They formed dotted spots across the landscape to perfectly match the spots of the
cheetah. That magical image I witnessed was clearly destined to become an artwork!”
