According to Keats, a beautiful thing can give us extreme happiness and delight forever. How much more appealing then is a collection of things of beauty such as the proliferation of paintings, sculptures, ceramics, jewellery and crafts on this spring exhibition?
From the large to the small, as exemplified in this charming oil painting above by Karen Laurence-Rowe, there is much to delight. Karen, our award-winning artist from Kenya, has produced a stunning new portfolio of figurative, landscape and wildlife paintings in watercolour and oils for this show, and we are proud to announce that they are available to view here.
We also have Cape artist Liz Robertson here in person on Friday 5th April to give a talk about her work and to answer any questions. There are still spaces available so please email directly to [email protected] if you would like to attend. As the talk will be at the gallery, all attendees will be welcome to preview the exhibition as well, which officially opens the following day.
Details and work are on our website www.fillingdon.com and purchases can be made online at any time. We are happy to pack and post.
Please forward this email to anyone who does not yet know of us, but may appreciate the quality of the original and diverse work we show. Thank you.
