A bountiful original oil painting by classically trained artist Mary-Jane Alexander, who was born in Zimbabwe, but now lives in UK. Mary-Jane excels at still-life and her use of light and thick application of paint highlights her impeccable training. She remembers being given these blooms, and as is so often the way, she felt compelled straight away to paint them.
