You are invited to our inaugural ‘Meet the Artist’ with Polly Hosp from 12 – 2pm on Friday 17th November.
Polly Hosp is an acclaimed printmaker who has moved to London via Kent, following over a decade living and working in Africa. Her first edition of ‘The Cotton Harvest’ (above) featured and sold during the Summer Exhibition at The Royal Academy this year, and she is a regular finalist in the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year and the Society of Wildlife Artists annual exhibitions. We are delighted to be showing her work for the first time, and having her here in person on Friday 17th November to give a brief talk about her work and answer any questions from the floor.
This is bound to be a popular event and spaces will be limited so please email directly to [email protected] if you would like to attend. As the talk will be in the gallery, all attendees will be welcome to preview the exhibition as well, which officially opens the following day.
“This Moment” is a gathering of recollections; diverse but poignant. As with Polly’s original prints, the moment captured can be the turn of a monkey’s head, the flash of bee-eaters in flight or the shy smile on a young girl’s face.
As well as paintings, there will be a wide array of original sculpture, ceramics, jewellery and craft available on show. The exhibition will be open daily, 10am to 4pm, from 18th November to 1st December.
Details and work are on our website and purchases can be made online at any time. We are happy to pack and post. Please forward this email to anyone you think may be interested. Thank you.
