There was a definite buzz in the air at the gallery on Saturday. We had in the last of our guest Artists in Residence for a Day and, appropriate for the time of year, it was the turn of silver jeweller, Sue Chadwick. Previous purchasers and fans of her work came to meet her and learn more about her process, as well as bring cherished pieces to her for amendment or a quick polish; whilst newcomers to her work marvelled at her solid silver pieces for the first time and learnt her invaluable short-cut tricks to cleaning silver and keeping it in tip-top condition. She also brought with her new designs hot-off-the-press and these proved popular amongst the sales of the day as well as familiar classic favourites.
