With a multi-disciplinary background, Bridget expresses her work through various artistic outlets in a vibrant and innovative way. Born in Cape Town, South Africa, Bridget studied a BA Fine Art majoring in Jewellery Design at Stellenbosch University. She went on to become a lecturer at Ruth Prowse Art School in Cape Town and later at the New Jersey School for Visual Arts as a jewellery design lecturer. With numerous awards for Jewellery design from The American Gold Council and De Beers she continues to make one of kind pieces of jewellery.
Bridget worked for some time as decorative and mural painter in the USA. She moved to Westfield, New Jersey, USA in 1985 where she stayed for 20 years. In 2006 the Heneck family moved back to Cape Town
In 2012 she connected with her love for working on the pottery wheel and she now works from a studio space and exhibits her pottery at Art in the Forest, Cape Town. 2015 has seen her participating in her second Merit Painting Exhibition organised by SASA.
